Program Requirements

To be accepted in the program, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Must be 21 years of age.
• Have a valid CA Class C driver’s license
• Must know how to operate a manual transmission.
• Must pass a Department of Transportation (D.O.T.) physical exam and drug test.
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate with law enforcement and the general public
